2027 Toyota RAV4 EV MSRP, Price, Configurations

2027 Toyota RAV4 EV MSRP, Price, Configurations   –  The most popular vehicle from the brand in Canada, the 2027 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid, is available in gas-electric hybrid mode. The RAV4 Prime plug-in hybrid (PHEV) and its gasoline-only sister are also models in the same family. The 2023 version is indistinguishable from this one; the only change is that some accessories now come in a new shade of Army Green paint. Everything else is the same. The base LE trim level of the RAV4 Hybrid costs $37,880 and includes a non-negotiable delivery fee of $1,930.

The other four trim levels are as follows. In the following section, I tested the XLE, which starts at $40,980. I then tested the $48,880 Limited, followed by the SE and XSE. My XLE tester cost $43,860 before taxes due to the added expense of the Army Green paint and the Woodland package that came with it. This did not include the deduction of any relevant taxes. 2027 Toyota RAV4 EV MSRP

2027 Toyota RAV4 EV Redesign and Update Plan

Exterior and Interior

Even on the most basic LE model, you won’t find a lot of extra functions. Among these features are a sunroof, heated front seats (standard across all trim levels), a power tailgate, a power driver’s seat, a heated steering wheel, a cargo privacy cover, and rain-sensing wipers. These features are included as standard equipment on all trim levels. This XLE trim level is an upgrade over the original LE level, which is what was tested.

A standard feature across all trim levels is an eight-inch touchscreen located in the center stack, which can be wirelessly connected to either Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. In contrast, the XLE includes a three-year trial for services pertaining to remote connection technology. The two can also use Google-developed technology to access a navigation and app system.2027 Toyota RAV4 EV Interior

The Woodland package, exclusive to the XLE trim level, comes with a plethora of goodies. Among these additions are a suspension designed for off-road use, a cargo tray, all-season floor mats, a 120-volt power outlet, roof rail crossbars, and 18-inch bronze wheels rather of the standard 17-inch rims. At the higher trim levels, you can find a plethora of extra amenities. Among these amenities include a motorized passenger seat, heated back seats, faux-leather upholstery, a 10.5-inch center screen, a hands-free tailgate, and wireless charging.  2027 Toyota RAV4 EV MSRP

2027 Toyota RAV4 EV  Specs

Huge knurled temperature knobs that are easy to manipulate even with gloves on are just one example of how the RAV4’s controls are famed for their user-friendliness. There is a two-level toggle system for the heated seats, the screen settings are not unduly complicated, and the buttons on the steering wheelare easy to use. Accessibility and visibility are good, and getting into or out of the building is not a problem. On days with high winds, it becomes even more of a challenge to close the front door because the pull-handles are placed too far forward and offer little leverage. Definitely, this need some sort of resolution. 2027 Toyota RAV4 EV MSRP2027 Toyota RAV4 EV MSRP

Engine and Performance

You can get up to 219 horsepower out of your car when the hybrid electric motor and gas engine work together. The main working component of the system is an automatic continuously variable transmission (CVT), which is responsible for transferring power to the front wheels. An auxiliary electric motor transfers power to the back wheels when needed without using fuel, allowing the all-wheel drive (AWD) system to function, which is standard on all trim levels. The RAV4 Hybrid has a front-mounted electric motor and uses regenerative braking to charge its hybrid battery. The hybrid vehicle also doesn’t need an electrical outlet to function. (This technology is standard in the RAV4 Prime, adding to its hybrid capabilities; it helps extend the vehicle’s range when driven on electric power alone.)2027 Toyota RAV4 EV Engine

The RAV4 Hybrid handles well on a daily basis and has a power output that is competitive with other cars in its class. The RAV4, which can only run on gasoline, is no match for this vehicle when it comes to handling highway passes and overall comfort. Nevertheless, it may grow audible with extremely rapid acceleration.  2027 Toyota RAV4 EV MSRP

2027 Toyota RAV4 EV  Fuel Economy

According to NRCan, the RAV4 Hybrid has a combined rating of 6.0, with city fuel economy of 5.8 liters/100 km, highway fuel economy of 6.3 liters/100 km, and total fuel economy of 5.8 m/100 km. Cumulatively, the Woodland’s aerodynamic problems caused by its knobbly tires and roof racks result in 6.4 liters per hundred kilometers of fuel consumption. When compared to the prior vehicle, this is a huge improvement. I put it through its paces for a week and managed an average of 7.5 gallons per hundred kilometers.

This held true in both cold weather and while driving on highways, where a hybrid’s battery life is not as critical as that of a conventional vehicle. As a whole, the RAV4’s gasoline-only fuel economy rating is 8.0 liters per hundred kilometers. However, these official results are in line with its hybrid rivals, such as the Hyundai Tucson and Honda CR-V, which score 6.4 points apiece, the Kia Sportage 6.2 points, and the Ford Escape 6.0 points.

2027 Toyota RAV4 EV  Safety Features

A total of five stars was awarded to the RAV4 Hybrid after a battery of collision tests were finished. Atop the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety’s (IIHS) list of Top Safety Picks from last year was the 2023 RAV4. Despite consistently receiving the maximum possible score of “Good” in all prior testing, it managed to secure a “Acceptable” rating in the new side crash test, which more faithfully mimics being hit by a larger SUV. The updated moderate front overlap test, which considers not only front-seat but also rear-seat passengers for injury hazard, also gave it a “Acceptable” rating.

Results from its side testing were deemed “Acceptable,” leading to its selection as the Top Safety Pick for the 2023 edition. The 2027 model may eventually have the label taken from it since it was not yet released when this article was created. This is due to the fact that, up to 2027, only vehicles with a “Good” rating on that specific test will be eligible for prizes.

Included in every trim level are driver-assist safety systems. As you make a left turn, one of these features will activate: emergency front braking, which can detect pedestrians and oncoming cars. No new vehicle produced in Canada can be sold without a suite of driver-support safety features, including adaptive cruise control, automatic high-beam headlights, lane-keeping and centring help, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, and a backup camera. Only the top-tier Limited trim and the XSE with the Technology package provide exclusive features like a panoramic camera and emergency rear braking. In the US, these options are exclusive to the Limited.  2027 Toyota RAV4 EV MSRP
